Carbon Risk Disclosure Inquiry – Senate Committee on Economics
Last week the Senate re-referred the Carbon Risk Disclosure Inquiry to the Senate Committee on Economics. The Committee was originally tasked with issuing a report by mid-2016, however the inquiry lapsed due to the dissolution of Parliament. The inquiry will re-form and is expected to table a report by the end of March 2017. The inquiry is to investigate the carbon risk framework abroad, and current practices in Australia.
