Senate Committee to Look at Carbon Risk Disclosure Here and Abroad

Carbon Risk Disclosure Inquiry – Senate Committee on Economics

Last week the Senate re-referred the Carbon Risk Disclosure Inquiry to the Senate Committee on Economics. The Committee was originally tasked with issuing a report by mid-2016, however the inquiry lapsed due to the dissolution of Parliament. The inquiry will re-form and is expected to table a report by the end of March 2017.  The inquiry is to investigate the carbon risk framework abroad, and current practices in Australia. Further information and previous submissions can be found here.
