Satellite Based Augmentation System Seeks Agribusiness for User Trial

Geoscience Australia is developing the National Positioning Infrastructure Capability with its Satellite Based Augmentation System. The SBAS is currently undergoing trials across a range of industries including agriculture. The system seeks to overcome existing gaps in satellite communications to increase accurate positioning information across Australia and New Zealand. The SBAS is expected to have decimetre accuracy of positional location of infrastructure and services. Geoscience Australia is seeking test participants from agriculture for the SBAS test-bed that is to begin mid-year. To register click here.
