Grain Growers have released a Review into 2017 Multi-Peril Crop Insurance Products (MPCI). MPCI gives farmers some financial security over their harvest, protecting them from a percentage of potential revenue or yield loss. MPCI is a relatively new phenomenon Australia wide, also but has been trialed several times in Western Australia. The poor uptake of MPCI has been attributed to the lack of understanding regarding policies.
