Heritage Laws to be Re-instated in Victoria

The Heritage Bill 2016 (Vic) will re-enact the Heritage Act 1995 (Vic), with amendments, to reintroduce protection for land and property which has cultural or conservational value. In achieving this purpose, the Bill enacts several bodies to fund, regulate and enforce the protections afforded. The Bill is awaiting Royal Assent.
