The National Farm Co-Operatives and Collaboration Pilot Program is supported by Federal Government funding and seeks to improve the visibility and uptake of agricultural co-operative corporate design. The pilot program began mid last year and will be completed mid-next year.
Funding under the program is available for primary producers to go toward increasing primary producer knowledge regarding co-operative business structuring, supply chain, bargaining power, and legal and financial support in developing co-operative business models. The National Farming Together Forum will be held on 6 June 2017 at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
