Economic Growth not Paralleled by Carbon Dioxide Emissions Growth

Despite economic growth in 2015, the year has not recorded rapid emission growth. The transitioning economy of China has demonstrated a simultaneous trend of emissions growth over the past decade, however the last year, carbon dioxide emitted by China has been in decline. Impressive declines across the European Union has largely been offset by growth in the use of fossil fuels in developing economies, particularly India. More information can be found here.
