Petroleum Resource Rent Tax to be Reviewed

The federal government has announced a review into the integrity of the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax.  The review will focus on ensuring that taxation is equitably returning to the community the benefits attained by resource companies though petroleum exploration by way of taxation and royalties. The review will produce recommendations for reform by April 2017.
