Murray Darling Basin Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment Permitted

The Water Legislation Amendment (Sustainable Diversion Limit Adjustment) Bill 2016 (Cth) amends the Basin Plan 2012 to permit the Murray-Darling Basin Authority to propose an adjustment to the Sustainable Diversion Limit. The Sustainable Diversion Limit permits +/- 5% shift to the Sustainable Diversion Limit provided the triple bottom line is not adversely affected.
