Murray-Darling Basin Senate Inquiry Public Submissions Closes Thursday

The Senate Inquiry into The Integrity of the Water Market in the Murray-Darling Basin is receiving submissions until Thursday 28 September 2017. The Inquiry will investigate claims of theft and corruption in the management of the Murray-Darling Basin, including the actions, or lack thereof, of both state governments and the Murray-Darling Basin Authority. The Inquiry will also investigate the use of environmental water, which has been purchased by the Federal Government with public money, for irrigation purposes. Submissions can be made here.
