Commonwealth On-Farm Further Irrigation Efficiency Program

The Commonwealth On-Farm Further Irrigation Efficiency Program is still receiving applications from Irrigators in the South Australian Murray Darling Basin to be a part of the pilot project. The project has a budget of 15 million dollars, with 1.575 billion dollars available across the life of the Commonwealth On-Farm Further Irrigation Efficiency Program. The program aims to bridge the gap to sustainable diversion limits set out in the Basin Plan (2007) by supporting surface water entitlement holders to develop water efficiency projects.
