Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Sciences (ABARES) has released their September Quarter 2017 into Agricultural Commodities markets forecasting a decline in both farm production and farm export. ABARES has indicated that the results must be viewed in the context of last-year’s incredibly successful season. ABARES cited limited rainfall has led to dryer soils impacting crop production across the country. Later season rainfall in South Australia has provided a boost to winter crops.
